BOOKING, DEPOSIT and CANCELLATION POLICIES 

The Copper Kraken Tattoo Emporium takes your tattoo project very seriously and wants to provide the best service possible to you during your tattoo experince.


To ensure you are well informed and to avoid any confusion before getting your tattoo, please read through our booking policies.

**How to book your session

Go to the BOOK NOW tab on our website and fill out the request form. The form will be submitted to management and an artist of your choice or the studios choice will contact you within 2 weeks to complete your booking or conduct a phone or in studio consultation if necessary.

 

In order to secure your tattoo appointment, a deposit in the cash amount specified by your artist must be made to confirm your commitment to being tattooed by your artist. Until your deposit is received, the appointment time is available fro other clients to claim.

 

Deposits are requested  prior to booking appointments to ensure the artist receives an income for the time they have set aside for your project. In the event you change your mind about getting your tattoo, you don’t show up for your appointment or you reschedule at the last minute,  a deposit ensures your artist still makes some form of income for their commitment to your session. Realize Tattoo artists do not make an income unless they are tattooing. They will not make an income for the time they scheduled for you unless a deposit is received.

 

Your artist is committed to your tattoo. Your depsoit shows that you are also committed to your tattoo.
For these reasons  please respect our policies.

 

When you make your appointment with your artist it is best to keep the appointment to avoid penalties of your deposit being forfeited.

Deposits will be forfeited if: 

  • you change your mind about getting a tattoo and the project is cancelled. Cancelling a respective appointment without rescheduling to a later date will forfeit the deposit.
  • you do not attend your appointment (aka NO SHOW) or if you are 20 min+ late for your appointment without any communication. If you are running late please contact us by phone for the quickest response or message your artist directly through the method you have been communicating.
  • an agreed design that has been consulted on with an artist does not come to fruition for creative, interpersonal or time restraint issues. Your design will be prepared and presented to you based on what you have discussed with your artist.  Last minute changes to your design which result in more than 45min to redraw will result in the use of your deposit. A new deposit will need to be made and a potentially new appointment will need to be booked.
  • 72 HOURS notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling appointments. Reschedule by directly contacting your artist. Do not leave messages through the studio staff. 72 hours gives your artist time to fit someone else into their schedule to avoid lost income.
  • You can reschedule up to 2 times. If your appointment is rescheduled a 3rd time, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Once your session is booked and you have discussed your tattoo with your artist,  a design will be available for viewing either the evening before,  morning of  or at your tattoo appointment with enough time to make changes to it if you want. Design viewing time is determined by your artist.
