To help bring exposure to the large population of talented artists in Squamish, the Copper Kraken Tattoo Emporium regularly showcases new artists creations in the studio’s gallery space ne for a visit to view the current works on display.
Salomé Stella Robichaud (Nov – Dec. 2022)
Salomé is an illustrator, watercolor painter and tattoo artist residing in Squamish, British Columbia. She attended The Alberta University of the Arts; however, most of her artistic progress and work has been self-taught. Having lived across Canada, she grew up appreciating the vast prairies, both coasts and majestic Rockies. Salomé’s creative expression celebrates the grace and energy of the female and animal spirit. She hopes to invoke the feeling of well-being that is experienced when we are in harmony with mother nature and her elements. Currently when Salomé is not tattooing in her Squamish studio, she enjoys creating vivid characters and backgrounds inspired by her life in Squamish. Many of her pieces include places and people she has known and experienced. @salomestellaart
